Experience a one-on-one appointment, where the owner(s) get to stay, you and your pet(s) are the only ones in salon at the time and treats and positivity is provided while Kay takes care of those nails and what ever side services you choose .
Kay specializes with any animal, especially those who have major fears (example: Nail fear/ people fear).
Please take a look at my google review page if you are feeling hesitant. This way you can see owners who were once in your position.
If you are brining any pet other than a dog, please make sure they are in a crate upon arrival. Safety is essential when handling cats, bunnies and any other non-leashed pets.
A basic Nail trim, cutting your pet's nails as short as they can go. Specializing with any behavior.
An additional Nail trim during your appointment (additional animal within the same appointment)
An addition to nail trims. Hardwood floor friendly, leaving their nails smooth and rounded.
Clearing hair around their eyes (preventing eye crust build up) and beard trimming (cleaning up the beard/ nose area).
If you notice your dog scooting their bum (this is a sign that their glands might be full), and can prevent uncomfortable pain impaction. For dogs who cannot release their glands on their own.
Removing the hair under/ in-between the pads. Preventing slipping, dirt dragged into home, and matting.
Leaving the salon with minty fresh breath, eliminating unpleasant doggy breath.
Trimming the tail, preventing hair being dragged, and leaving a clean look.
Some dogs are prone to tight little matts that form right behind the ear.
Cleaning any dirt build up on the inside of the ear.
A clean trim/shave preventing mess around sanitary areas.
Your choice of all natural, pet safe deodorizer scents, leaving your dog smelling like they just left the spa head to toe.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question via email, text, Instagram message, Facebook message or phone call.
I am extremely confident in doing so. You may find it calming to read some of my google reviews, or Instagram reviews from clients who (prior to their appointment) may have felt the same as you do now.
Nails take on average 5-10 minutes (yes even the extreme/ fearful cases).
It depends on their body language and fear intensity (aggressive or timid, both stem from fear). One size doesn't fit all, but I always find the right size eventually. The beautiful thing is, you're there and will be able to see what fits your dog's needs in overcoming this specific fear!
